MMM it was cool this morning.  Hot cocoa and a sweet potato for breakfast.   Got up early to relax and read the paper.   Did not want to feel all rushed on my way to work today.


Been testing out the beta of FFXIV.   Discovered I suck at writing reviews.  OMG I suck.

Yeah, I think October has arrived a couple of months early this year! It certainly beats the normal 100 and 70-80% humidity.

Put in an order with the library for it. He has several books out there, thanks for the tip, I'd never heard of him before. Always looking for new authors seems like I have tunnel vision lately.

This reminds me I need to set Vent back up after reinstalling windows. I even have a nice private area where I don't have to worry about disturbing the rest of the household with my chatter.

The humor has the same sort of gentle mocking of the real world and egos etc that Pratchett has.   I would say that if you love Pratchett then this will be right up your alley.

I love fall.  Its my favorite time of year and I think its because it is when I was born.  Fall doesn't come the same time every year.  Sometimes theres an indian summer and the warmth goes into november, sometimes it starts in august.  I know that the calendar says specific days as do people, but those aren't true.  For me, I just know when its fall because I feel it.  That tingle in my spine, the bit of chill fresh smell in the air, that little flutter in my heart that tells me, fall is here with me now.  Its like a little spirit in the wind that surrounds and comforts me.  I always think that the feeling I get is much like salmon in a stream when they just know when to swim upstream.  Or maybe I'm just a wierdo  lol

I love all of the holidays because they are based on gathering with friends and family.  But my favorite holiday is Halloween.  Its not because of the scary things or dressing up.  Its because of the mischief and magic that comes with it.
